The second day of July certainly deserves commemoration as it is the day when the Continental Congress made the official vote to sever ties with Great Britain and attain Independence. The event will be showcasing historic music and costuming from the 18th century in alliance with David and Ginger Hildebrand of the Colonial Music Institute.
