Holidays in Georgetown

The holiday season is not lost on Washington’s most historic and vibrant neighborhoods, Georgetown. On December 7, 2008, the streets will glitter with Christmas revelry which includes complimentary horse drawn carriage rides, caroling, hot chocolate and even an appearance made by Santa. The Georgetown Christmas Tree will be lit at approximately 6:15 pm and will be followed by a parade of warmly lit boats on the Washington Harbour Waterfront at 6:30pm. The event is a perfect evening of festivities for holiday fanatics of all ages! (Dec. 7, 2008; 2pm -6 pm; Wisconsin Ave., between M and N Streets).
