Lincoln Bicentennial Event Schedule

Washington D.C, soon to be home of an eruptive schedule for the celebration of Lincoln’s 200th birthday, will host a series of events from January 1st- April 30th. On February 12th, the Ford Theatre will reopen its newly renovated doors from 9am-5pm to celebrate the Lincoln Bicentennial. Tickets range from $135-160. The Emancipation Day Parade takes place on April 16th and will commemorate the freedom of approximately 3000 slaves with lectures, parades and performances. The final event on May 30th will mark the rededication of the Lincoln Memorial which will feature a reproduction of the 1922 dedication.
