Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival

(June 20th; Noon-6p.m.; On the Waterfront @ National Harbor)

This year, National Harbor is hosting a classic annual summer event which features the best of 3 B’s, “Beer, Bourbon and BBQ”. The festival will be filled with fun events perfect for a lazy Saturday. Contests include (but are not limited to) “Ms. Bar-B-Cutie” and the “World’s BBQ Eating Championship”. Vendors will introduce a number of tastings and samplings of refreshing brews, taps, bourbons, and a variety of barbeque so that no visitor goes hungry or thirsty. In fact, the festival boasts over 60 beers and 40 bourbons in addition to live music which will be playing all day, a mechanical bull ready for any willing patron and tasting seminars.

With a $50 VIP advance ticket you will receive admission into the event, unlimited sampling from noon-6p.m. and a souvenir tasting glass. Regular advanced passes are $30 (online) and $35 (on site) and include unlimited sampling from 2p.m.-6p.m. Added perk; kids 12 and under get in for free. The event will be held rain or shine under comfortable tents so no need to worry about faltering weather conditions.
